Refund & Cancellation Policy for htmlid.com
At htmlid.com, we strive to deliver high-quality WordPress development services with professionalism, efficiency, and transparency. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply when clients request cancellations, refunds, or modifications to their projects. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Payment Terms
All projects with htmlid.com are billed in two installments:
- 50% Upfront Payment: Required before the project begins. This deposit confirms your project booking and allows us to allocate resources and start development.
- 50% Final Payment: Due after the official completion of the project and after your website goes live.
Projects will not be considered complete until the final payment is received. Ownership of the completed website or deliverables will remain with htmlid.com until full payment has been made.
2. Client Withdrawals
Clients may choose to withdraw from a project at any time. However, any work already completed by htmlid.com up to the point of withdrawal must be paid for in full. This ensures fair compensation for the time, effort, and resources invested in your project.
No refunds will be issued for work already completed, regardless of the reason for withdrawal, except as specified in Section 3 below.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only applicable in cases where htmlid.com has made a proven mistake, including but not limited to:
- Failure to deliver agreed-upon features or functionality as outlined in the project scope
- Delivery of a defective or non-functional website that cannot be corrected within a reasonable timeframe
All refund requests must be submitted in writing. htmlid.com reserves the right to review the project files, communications, and deliverables to determine if a refund is warranted. Partial or full refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases where our service has demonstrably failed to meet the agreed specifications.
4. Project Timeline and Turnaround Time
We strive to complete all projects within the agreed-upon timeline. However, turnaround times may be extended under the following circumstances:
- Mutual agreement between htmlid.com and the client due to unforeseen delays
- Additional requests, revisions, or changes outside the original project scope
- Dependencies on third-party services or client-provided content
Any timeline adjustments will be communicated promptly to ensure both parties are aligned on the revised schedule.
5. Revisions Policy
Upon delivery of the completed project, clients are entitled to two revisions included in the project scope. Revisions are intended for minor changes, corrections, or adjustments.
- Any revisions requested after the two included revisions will be treated as a separate project and must be negotiated and billed separately.
- Major changes, new functionality, or additions that fall outside the original project scope are not included in the standard revision process.
This ensures that projects remain on schedule and that additional work is properly scoped and compensated.
6. Cancellation Procedure
If you wish to cancel a project, the following steps must be followed:
- Submit a written cancellation request to info@htmlid.com.
- Include your project details, reasons for cancellation, and any relevant supporting information.
- htmlid.com will review your request and confirm any outstanding payments due for completed work.
- Any refundable amounts, if applicable (see Section 3), will be processed after review.
Please note that cancellation requests do not automatically entitle you to a refund unless htmlid.com has made a verifiable mistake.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
- All work completed by htmlid.com remains the intellectual property of htmlid.com until full payment has been made.
- Clients who withdraw after the project has begun are still responsible for payment for work completed, as outlined in Section 2.
- Upon full payment, clients will receive rights to use the delivered website, design, or functionality in accordance with the project agreement.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a disagreement regarding refunds, revisions, or project completion, htmlid.com encourages open communication to resolve the issue amicably.
- Clients should contact htmlid.com directly via email with detailed information.
- We will review the project files, communications, and deliverables and respond promptly.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to seek mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.
9. Limitations
- htmlid.com is not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party services, hosting providers, or client-provided materials.
- Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with minor design preferences that were not explicitly agreed upon in the project scope.
- Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or delayed approvals from the client do not constitute grounds for refunds or timeline adjustments unless agreed mutually.
10. Communication Policy
Effective communication is critical to project success. Clients are expected to provide timely feedback and required content, materials, or approvals during the project.
- Delays in client response may extend the project timeline.
- Turnaround times for responses are estimated based on standard business practices, but may be adjusted in special cases as agreed mutually.
11. Final Delivery
- After the completion of the project and the two included revisions, htmlid.com will deploy the website to the live environment.
- Any further changes requested after the website goes live will require a separate agreement and additional payment.
- Final delivery is considered official when the website is live and functioning according to the agreed project specifications.
